Vaughn Omps, MSW

Vaughn is a resident counselor who received his Bachelor of Sociology degree from the University of Virginia in 2020 and received his Master of Social Work degree from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2023. Vaughn's professional interests include working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, self-esteem issues, and relationship issues. Additionally, Vaughn is an LGBTQ+ affirming therapist, with a special interest in counseling for transgender issues. In his work with clients, Vaughn utilizes evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solutions-Focused Therapy, and Narrative Therapy.

Vaughn is working towards his licensure to be an LCSW. He is registered with the Virginia Board of Social Work. Vaughn provides therapy services under the supervision of Miss Andrea Lankford, LCSW.
