Kamran Sattarov, MD

Dr. Sattarov is our director of TMS services. He has specialized training in neuromodulation techniques using Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS), the breakthrough technology for treatment resistant major depressive disorder, OCD and smoking cessation.

Dr. Sattarov is the recipient of a research scholarship awards from the University of Arizona and University of Pittsburgh where he completed his fellowships while developing his special interest in the electrical properties of brain cells and noninvasive neuromodulation.

Working as a surgical neurophysiologist in Hartford, CT, Dr. Sattarov performed various neurodiagnostic procedures and used implantable electronic devices to diagnose and treat patients with neurological conditions. Prior joining our team, he lead TMS Services at Comprehensive Behavioral Health in Arlington, VA.

Dr. Sattarov is certified and experienced in the application of Neurostar, Magstim and MagVenture TMS devices. He is an active member of the Clinical TMS Society. He has authored and published multiple journal articles and scientific papers in prestigious, peer reviewed medical journals.

In his spare time, Dr. Sattarov enjoys travel, photography, and playing the violin. He believes that art is a divine way to reconnect to our spiritual essence.
