Board-Certified Psychiatrist
Harish Goyal, MD, is a psychiatrist providing care to adolescents, adults, and elderly patients at Inspire Behavioral Health. The practice has two locations: Vienna, Virginia, and Cumberland, Maryland.
Dr. Goyal has a vast array of clinic interests: mood and anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, ADHD, and substance use disorders, particularly alcohol and opioid disorders. Dr. Goyal specializes in eating disorders and treats patients in the reflections eating disorder unit at Dominion Hospital in Falls Church, Virginia, where he has supervised psychiatry residents from Georgetown University in Washington, D.C.
Dr. Goyal strongly believes in a multidisciplinary approach, utilizing psychopharmacology in combination with psychotherapy. He completed his residency in psychiatry at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks, North Dakota, where he served as the chief resident during the fourth year.
Dr. Goyal was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha honor society based on trustworthiness, knowledge, proficiency in the doctor-patient relationship, and caring attitude towards patients.
